I think I finally found a place for this shot’s posting. The photograph was taken from a blind in Harkness Memorial State Park, Waterford, CT, on Oct 8, at 9:18 AM.
Thank you for stopping by.

Canon R5, Canon 100-500mm & 1.3ext, f10, 700mm, 1/2000, +.3EV, ISO 2500. The shot is cropped by 55% and I adjusted the vibrancy, saturation and used a local brush on the Egret to bring-out more detail in the whites. (DXO Photo Lab 5)

Fun capture, Peter. Love the expressions on their faces.

@peter You’ve got a story here. Sometimes it’s the perspective or the story given by the title that we identify with. The expression in their actions is very apt for the name.

Yes, this one is postcard-worthy. Fun capture.

Great find here Peter and the soft lighting shows lots of detail in the two neighbors. Like your composition also but could probably do with a little less open space on the left. I get over to Harkness once or twice a year, but will have to try and visit more often.

Hi Jim
The spacing on the left side of the frame is for the post-card tag line. (a ad company would us that space for their statement.)
