Beautiful look at this little family.
Such a beautiful capture, Jaapv! They look so relaxed and peaceful.
This is very nice, Jaapv! I love the mood of the scene and the composition is excellent. Good job managing the lighting and the clarity is very nice also. Normally I would suggest toning down the bright, sunlit background on the right, but in this case it is an important part of the “relaxing in the shade” mood so I wouldn’t change a thing! Well done
How did I miss this? Super shot. That lens is pretty fab if I do say so myself. I wish for some eye contact, but these cats sure do have a mind of their own. Someday I’m going to have to venture over to an African country and see them for myself.
Thank you, Chris. Cheetahs do tend to watch the surroundings, as opposed to lions or leopards who will look you over. Yes, it is a fantastic lens, but I moved up from MFT so now I am using the new Sigma 150-600 Sport, which is fantastic as well.
