My husband and I were foraging for ramps when we passed a downed tree covered in multiple types of fungi. I went home and brought my camera back to photograph the log.

Anita, I can see why you went back for your camera. I wish I could pull it up in the large version. Not sure why it isn’t letting me. Love the shades of browns and greens. Nice shapes in the fungi as well. It is fun finding scenes like this.

Anita, you’ve got a fine collection of colors and shapes here. Easy to see why you went back for your camera. The mix of orange and brown is complemented well by the subtle greens. I’m going to guess that these may be very old Turkeytail mushrooms.
