I’ve recently had a chance to rework some older collections for my photo archive. It’s a cringe-inducing process, trying to salvage photos from much older cameras and lenses, during a time when I wasn’t nearly as skilled behind the lens. On the other hand, there are some nice memories coming back, like when this young grizzly cub held aloft what for it was a big find: a small dead salmon.

Photographed during my first trip to the Great Bear Rainforest back in 2009.

Very nice scene Max and I like how you have included much of the setting for us to experience here. I like the subject placement in the frame. Your new processing looks quite good to me.

Great action, Max. Amazing depth of field for 500 mm at f/4. You must have been a long ways away.
