Really beautiful image, Ben! I love the black and green together. Not just the lighting but the shadows really catch my eye. It looks like an oil painting to me. Nicely seen!
This has been a very productive series for you Ben, it’s another great image. It’s clean, simple and direct, and thus has a lot of impact. Your use of light and shadow is very powerful here, and your processing of it looks excellent to me. I lalso like that you kept the shadowed greens a cooler green, it looks very natural. Less is often more, and this image makes a great case for that.
The lighting and diagonal lines pull my eyes right into this scene, Ben. The soft feel of the feathery grass is very inviting. Also am enjoying the gentle gradations of green. Makes me wish I could set up a picnic in this special place. Truly a lovely capture.
Ben, this is a great image as already explained by others. I really like the light in your small scenes and this is no exception. I am not an art specialist, but to me the way you handle the light reminds me of how light is used by painters.

@Vanessa_Hill , @linda_mellor , @Ola_Jovall . I was there as people say on the right time and place. But most of all the right moment to catch this light and dark scene. I am glad some of you find it also painterly (as I do). And thank’s @Ed_McGuirk you appreciate my processing of the image.
