Around here, the tamaracks are the last trees to shed their colours. All the others are on the ground now. So, this picture is a farewell to autumn, looking forward to winter.

I just like the patterns. I hope others do as well.

Technical Details

ISO 100, shutter 0.4 seconds, f4.0, 50mm lens
Minimal processing, just punched-up the orange a bit, and darkened the background slightly.

I like the pattern too, Warren. The colors of the tamaracks blend in very well with the BG. The dark stems add nice contrast. Good job.
