Not sure in which category this image fits: Nightscape? Abstract? The moderators can move it if they want to.
An image I took a long time ago, when I was camping with my family. My daughter came to me to to show me the moon, that was partially obstructed by clouds. She found the view a bit spooky.
I shot a few images and edited to taste.

Specific Feedback Requested

Nothing specific. Does this image work for you in any way? I’ve been thinking about cloning out the moon and replace it by clouds, but without a light source the sky is probably a bit unnatural.

Pentax K10D, 300mm, 1 s, f/11, ISO400, tripod.

This image works for me. I get a spooky feeling looking at it. I like how the tree branches frame the moon and I think the soft focus works nicely in combination with the soft texture of the clouds–a nice abstract background for the moon.

It’s a very nice image Han. I really enjoy the phrase ‘edited to taste’ think I might have to start using that.
