Since I don’t have any single bud images, like Gigi asked for, I thought I’d post a bud cluster shot taken a week earlier. This is a 15 shot stack that I’ve cropped to 8.5 x 11 to remove extra space on the right. (5D3, 180mm macro, 1/320 s, f/16, iso 300, tripod).

Mark, I am enjoying all these nice buds. They are clustered together nicely, and all seem to be close to the same stage. Very nice.
I love this, Mark. You chose an excellent angle on the cluster and I like the fade off of the focus that you got from using f/16. That fade-off when you want it can be a tricky thing in a stack.
