Sandpiper Shaker

A Least Sandpiper on the edge of the tide water. I caught it in the middle of a shake (you can see one drop of water flying off). The camera was laying on the ground for this shot.

Gary the action catch is neat. Yes, the pose says shaking dry. The ruffled feathers show very well.
That single sharp drop is a great extra tidbit.
