Since all of participants are watching the thread by default, we do get notifications if someone replies to it. I think a quick and easy fix would be to change your settings here:

Andrzej is correct (thank you!), I’m not sure why this is happening but I will investigate. I’ve closed that topic so nobody can reply to it anymore. Sorry about the confusion!
