It technically is not simply three ferns, but I feel only three blades are truly highlighted in this photo.

Are the highlights uneven? Does the brighter front fern upstage the other ferns?

Oh hey, I meant to comment on this before since I’m a big fan of fern images. These look to be sword ferns, but could be another. I think the small hiding one is fine since we really don’t see much of it. The contrasting greens are as nice as the textures here. I almost made a suggestion to raise the luminosity of the center fern, but then I looked some more and decided that because it’s at a different angle, it should have a different luminosity. Really nice.
Great shot Ben! I like the greens on greens of this. I think the darkness of the back ferns works well.
