Image Description

I was hiking in the Rockies and didn’t quite make the summit by sunrise however I noticed a few people near the summit of another peak. This was not planned just an image of opportunity

Specific Feedback and Self-Critique

The scale of the people and the pre-dawn light inspired me to make this image. I think I could have included a bit more of the mountain and cropped out that on pointy rock near the left hand side

1/500 f5 iso 200. 200mm on full frame 70-400mm lens. Minimal processing in LR

Hi Bryan! Those are interesting textures in the rocks, i like the jaggedness of those in contrast with the clouds. I wonder if you could crop down toward the right corner more and still have the same feeling of scale. There is some of the whiter area on the lower left that i think you could lose without losing the overall feeling of the photo.
