A few Steller Sea Lions were hauled out on the rocks by the Valdez Pink Salmon Hatchery. I got a lot of photos but for this one I zoomed in close as it was all about those big beautiful eyes that they have. If you click on it twice you’ll get an even closer look!

Gary: Marvelous detail in the eye and fur. In the largest version I like the reflection of the land forms in the eye. >=))>
Gary, I’m loving the mix of eye and whiskers as well as the upturned head. Those make for an outstanding view. Yes, the subtle view of the land, reflected in the eye in the largest version is a neat extra.
Gary, this is a wonderful portrait of the sea lion. Such great details in the fur and eye. Perfect WC, with that reflection in the eye.
