Pertinent technical details or techniques:

It’s fawning season now where I live and I’ve been keeping my eye out for a local family of mama some twins in our backyard. They meandered thru last evening and I managed to get a few shots of one of the kids. They have some effective natural cammo. Taken with my D500, Nikon 2-500 lens, Nikon 1.4 TC, hand held, 1/1000th, f/8.0, ISO 4000, 320mm, cropped to 4107 x 3194, AI Clear.

Nice image. I shoot with this same setup. With good light I add the 1.4 TC too. I would straighten the image so the body appears straight. I would also tone down the highlights a bit to try to even up the dappled light you have. Then a slight vignette to taste. A light one so the bottom of the frame is not too dark. Great eye contact here and there is a lot of growing needed to be worthy of those large ears. Thanks for sharing this.
